wet leaf sensor
wet leaf sensor
The sensor is designed to measure leaf moisture in order to send data to a platform that analyzes the condition of leaves on an ongoing basis. Using the FDR method, the sensor detects the dielectric constant on the leaf surface and converts the value to leaf moisture. The probe was designed to simulate the shape of a leaf as closely as possible. It has dense venation with 15 veins per centimeter, thanks to which it is able to sense small drops with high accuracy.
The LoRa wireless technology used in the sensor allows you to send data and achieve extremely long ranges at low data transmission speeds. It has an ultra-long communication range in the spread spectrum and high immunity to interference, while minimizing power consumption. The sensor is powered by a Li-SOCI2 battery with a capacity of 8500mAh, characterized by a long life, even up to 5 years.
